A child was reading the Bible, but
no matter how hard he tried, he
could not understand the concept of
the Trinity—one God in three
Persons. He asked his
teacher if she could
help
him
to
understand.
Knowing what a
difficult idea it was
to understand, the
teacher answered,
In the
Bible, God told many
parables to help the disciples to
understand; so my answer is sort of
like a parable (an earthly story
with a heavenly meaning). Look at
the egg. There is a shell, a yolk,
and white, but it is all one egg. This
is like God. There is God the
Father, God the Son (Jesus), and
God the Holy Spirit, but only one
God.
Sometimes there are
things we cannot fully
understand until we
get to Heaven. I hope
this helps you, and I
pray that one day I
will see you in Heaven.

seeking God and growing more like
Jesus each day, walking in the Holy
Spirit, trusting in Jesus, until we
see Him face to face!
