Struggles and Blessings of the Former Amish
April 06, 2015
Who are the former Amish? The Amish church rarely accepts them as they are. They have a hard time seeing themselves as English. So who are they? Misfits? Most times, the hurt, confusion and feelings of rejection leak further then just one or two generations.

My Testimony – Glen Yoder
October 30, 2020

My Testimony - Paul Helmuth
November 8, 2017
Paul Helmuth was born and raised in an Amish home in Arthur IL. He remembers the first time he heard "Ye must be born again." At the time, it felt like an arrow pierced his soul. For the next few years, he had, at times, dreams of being in hell. This led him to question the Amish ministers in his church. It was not until he let go of his own gods that he was able to fully surrender to Jesus Christ and find peace. What Paul did not know, at the time, is that freedom would cost him a hefty price - his family, friends and culture. Today, God has blessed Paul with a wonderful wife and six children. Listen and be blessed and greatly encouraged.

My Testimony – Verna Mast
May 9, 2017
First, my brother died outside the Amish church. This left me wondering if he made it to heaven. A few year's later, my mom died. Again, I was left wondering about salvation and the hereafter. I did not understand my German Bible so I turned to an English Children's Bible, hoping to find the the true road that led to life everlasting. In a dream, I say Jesus and mom. In that dream, I also saw a field full of flowers and a certain road. Ten years went by and, finally one day, I found that road - it was the road that led to everlasting life. My life was supernaturally and drastically changed for all eternity.

Jonas Brenneman Testimony
May 23, 2016
Unlike most, Jonas Brenneman’s parents were born again Christians. His dad was a minister in the Amish church and quite popular in other communities throughout the United States. Jonas on the other hand did not start out so well in life – that is, his desire to seek after the Lord and know Him was not there. Sin and the pull of the world led him deeper and deeper into sin. It was not until he fell flat on his face that God began to do a work in his heart that would finally lead to salvation and then ministry.
Listen to Jonas' testimony:

Bible Studies In The Middle of the Night - Joe Schrock
April 6, 2015
Joe and Rachel Schrock left the Amish with ten of their children. Amish leaders from their Missouri community were sure that, in time, the Schrock family would forsake their new beliefs and God completely. However, that has not been the case at all. Instead, the Lord has called each one of the ten children into ministry, most of them full time pastors and missionaries. It is a true testimony of what happens when a person forsakes all and follows Jesus Christ.

I Always Knew the Amish System I Was in Was Wrong - Mattie Mullet
December 12, 2013

Today, I can say, I know that I know that I know I have eternal life.

In time, the Lord used my wife to be and her family to show me the way to God.

At that moment, Andrew and Sara gave up trying on their own and placed their faith in Jesus Christ.

Living Out the Amish Rules - Gerald Miller
December 01, 2009
Gerald had full intentions of raising his family within the Amish culture. For years, he tried his best to live out the Amish rules to the best of his ability and serve as a good example to others in his Indiana community. At times, he wondered, "is this really what it takes to be right with God?" But as soon as the question entered his mind, he would remove the thought immediately, for fear it might lead him away from his family and friends. But the day that he gave his life to Christ, everything about Gerald Miller changed for all eternity. Please listen to Gerald tell his story.

However, in the midst of so many struggles and trials, these two men and their families would in a lot of ways open the door for thousands of others to question their Amish traditions and beliefs and come to Christ. Glen's testimony is 1.5 hrs. long, but very much worth your time to listen to.

Shortly thereafter, Dan Byler breathed his last and went to be with Jesus forevermore.

Testimony - Sam Troyer
February 7, 2017
One of the greatest witnesses to the power of God is a life changed by the Spirit of God. We are all sinners in need of a Savior. If we have not yet been born again, we remain dead in our trespasses and sins. There are many who are opposed to God, and there are also many who are good, religious people; yet people in both groups are just as dead spiritually. Listen to the testimony of Sam Troyer, whose life forever changed when he turned from religion to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

The 5-fold Appeal to be Justified by Faith Alone - Amish Voice Panel
August 4, 2013
Tonight's discussion is taken from Galatians 4:8-11: A person is justified by faith and not by law nor by works. It does not matter how many good works a person does nor how good he may become; he can never secure perfection. Therefore, a man can never earn or win the right to live in God’s presence. A man cannot make God accept him—put God in debt—by being good and doing good.
Listen now:
Justified by Faith (P-1) - Amish Voice Panel
April 7, 2013
Galatians 3:19-22: When Jesus Christ came, the law was to be set aside. The law was meant to have only a temporary purpose and life span. It was to extend only from Moses to Jesus Christ, for Jesus Christ is “the seed” to whom the promise of righteousness was given. God never intended the law to be the way of salvation. It was only for the temporary purpose of showing men their sin and its awfulness.

Justified by Faith (P-2) and Fruit of the Spirit - Amish Voice Panel
May 5, 2013
(Galatians 3:23-29) Many of us have turned down the wrong road in life, trusting in our works and the law to save us. We have been sincere, but we have been sincerely wrong. How can we make a mid-course correction? By faith, we must begin to trust the Lord to show us the way. SECOND HALF: In Galatians 5:22-23, the Christian is provided with a list of spiritual fruit. Then God says, let them out in your day to day walk. The question is, how does a person let go of self and let the fruit show through?

Ye Must Be Born Again - Joe Keim
May 30, 2017
Jesus was very clear: if you want to see and enter the Kingdom of God, you must be born the second time (John 3:1-7). The Scriptures go on to tell us the second birth is Super Natural, meaning the event cannot be manufactured by ministry workers or any other family member. It is strictly a work of God. Furthermore, the second birth, according to Peter 1:23-25, is only possible when someone first plants the incorruptible Seed – God’s Word – in a lost person’s heart. From there, God will take the Seed and bring the second birth to fruition; that is, if the lost person is willing to accept God’s gift of everlasting life.

Duty and Power of the Church - Joe Keim
November 4, 2015
In Genesis 1:26-28, God gave Adam dominion over the whole earth and every living thing that moveth upon the earth. In chapter Genesis 3, Adam willfully surrendered that dominion to Satan - Satan is called “the god [or ruler] of this world” (2 Corinthians 4:4). In Matthew 4:8-9, Satan offers to give the world’s kingdoms to Jesus if He would just bow down and worship him. Instead, Jesus went to the cross, died and rose from the dead; therefore He was able to take the authority and power from Satan and hand it back to the church. In Mathew 28:18, Jesus tells His disciples: "All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth." Therefore, go and make disciples...
