NICHOLVILLE, NY – An Amish family of five escaped a fire in Nicholville Wednesday night.
It was a stubborn fire at 185 Water Road. It broke out not long after 11 p.m..
“We got called out for a working fire here at this residence,” Nicholville Fire Chief Justin Sweet said. “Upon our arrival, we had heavy smoke coming out of the eaves.”
