Leon, New York – The man whose gun was allegedly involved in the accidental shooting of an 8-year-old Amish boy will stand trial on Feb. 13 at 5 p.m. in Leon Court.
Eli W. Wengerd, 20, of Leon, was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon after his unregistered .22-caliber gun discharged and wounded his younger brother in the chest on Dec. 12, police said.
