Amish mother Ruth Miller pleads not guilty by insanity for aggravated murder of 4-year-old son at Atwood Lake

NEW PHILADELPHIA, Ohio — Ruth Miller, the Amish woman accused of multiple charges in the death of her 4-year-old son at Atwood Lake last month, appeared for her arraignment Monday in Tuscarawas County Common Pleas Court.

Miller, the 40-year-old from Millersburg, pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity.
