MANISTEE COUNTY, MI – A resident of the Clare area is facing ethnic intimidation charges for allegedly threatening an Amish family with a knife as they rode by in a buggy.
Michigan State Police say the Amish family with a baby recently moved to Manistee County and attended a church service on Aug. 7. After church, fellow parishioners told them of a shorter route home on Healy Lake Road.
