Why Should I Give Towards the Amish Voice?
The Amish Voice ministry could very easily be compared to Christian radio, TV, and internet broadcasting. It is by far one of the most effective ways of presenting an Amish family with the gospel on a one-on-one basis.
When an Amish family receives The Amish Voice, they are able to read it on their own free time, without pressure from another member of the community. Quietly, faithfully, each issue sows seeds of truth in homes that might otherwise be difficult to reach.
How Does Sponsoring The Amish Voice Work?
Sponsorship is simple: you adopt a number of Amish households and help cover the printing and postage expenses needed to reach them.
Frequency
The Amish Voice is mailed six times a year: January, March, May, July, September, and November.
Cost
It costs just $0.85 per copy to print and send one issue to an Amish household. Your sponsorship helps cover these ongoing printing and postage expenses.
Billing Options
Some sponsors prefer to give monthly, while others are billed on a bi-monthly basis. Either approach works. If you cannot commit long-term, a one-time gift is also a great option.
Ongoing Impact
We ask that sponsors view this as an ongoing commitment whenever possible. If sponsorship ends, households that were receiving The Amish Voice may be discontinued. We try to avoid this whenever we can.
Who Can Sponsor the Amish Voice?
Anyone with a heart to reach the Amish can sponsor. We have Sunday school groups, churches, individuals, businesses, and families who adopt Amish households and help make this ministry possible.
Can I Choose Which Households I Adopt?
Yes. You can request specific households to adopt, as long as they have not already been adopted by someone else. You can also send us the names and addresses of your Amish friends, and we will gladly add them to the mailing list.
How Many Households Can I Adopt?
Some sponsors adopt as few as 50 households, while others have taken on 500 or more. You are free to adopt as few or as many households as you feel led to support.
What Is The Amish Voice Like?
The Amish Voice is a 16-page print publication designed specifically for Amish readers. It includes Bible teaching, testimonies, and gospel-centered content written with love and clarity.
