Flemingsburg, Kentucky – An Amish teenager who ran away from her Fleming County family in February is returning home.
Sheriff Gary Kinder said he received a phone call from the father of 16-year-old Clara Shetler on Sunday. The father said Shetler had been living in Lake of the Ozarks, Mo., and was on her way home.
“We received a call from a woman in Missouri who spotted (Shetler),” Kinder said. “Our office contacted the local police in Missouri and told them the circumstances. They must have contacted the father and she’s coming home now.”
