State police address substance abuse in the Amish community

NAPPANEE, IN — It’s a place you may not expect to hear about substance abuse. But there’s a push to get the word out in the Amish community.

“There is drug problems among the plain community,” said a community member. “I know of a young gal that’s actually being challenged right now because of that.”
