Growing in Christ Academy
An academy is a place of study or training in a specific subject or skill. At the Growing in Christ Academy, the subject is Jesus.
Study to show thyself approved unto God..." 2 Timothy 2:15
In this academy you will gain a foundational biblical understanding of the Christian faith, how to live it out and teach others to do the same, following Jesus’ instructions. Ephesians 4: 11-16
Our online courses provide flexible learning opportunities to deepen your understanding of God and the Bible. You can learn more about who God is and how to apply biblical principles to your daily life, with the added benefit of weekly group discussion meetings.
Our weekly assignments are flexible for people on the go. Our students are busy, working adults with family commitments. It is possible to learn more about what serving God whole-heartedly looks like from the comfort of your own home. Join other like-minded individuals as you take that step of faith to dive deeper into scripture, deeper into living out your faith, and experience the transformation that happens when we say yes to Jesus in every area of our life and walk in that yes.

What kinds of courses will Growing in Christ Academy offer?

For specific questions about the courses, please contact us!
What is the curriculum of Growing in Christ Academy like?
The curriculum is equivalent to college level courses. The curriculum is developed by followers of Jesus who have lived, worked, and taught in a variety of settings and cultures and who hold God and his scriptures as supreme authority. We also want to make it possible to continue the education beyond Growing in Christ Academy, and are working with other organizations to provide the possibility of transferring the completed courses and continue the education in ministry development, pastoring etc.
How are courses in Growing in Christ Academy structured?
While reading and writing skills are always valuable, they are not a requirement in these courses. Through the use of video and audio recordings, and live group chats, accommodations can be made so that reading and writing are not a requirement. A typical course begins with a weekly format of scripture readings and a video teaching, followed by a short quiz, and then an online discussion including a zoom chat where we continue the discussion of what we are learning and how it applies to our life.
