What We Believe

“These were more noble… in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the Scriptures daily, whether those things were so.” —Acts 17:11

The Bereans in the Apostle Paul’s day did not simply accept teaching—they measured every word against Scripture. In a time of great spiritual confusion, we invite you to do the same.

Below is the Doctrinal Statement of Faith for Mission to Amish People, presented clearly and openly so you may understand the biblical foundation and direction of our ministry.

The Word of God

We believe the entire Bible, from Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:21, is verbally inspired and infallible. (2 Tim. 3:16–17; 2 Pet. 1:21; Ps. 12:6–7)

The Virgin Birth

We believe Jesus Christ was born of Mary the virgin. (Matt. 1:18–25)

Christ’s Substitutionary Death

We believe Jesus Christ died for our sins, the just for the unjust, to bring us to God. (Rom. 5:6–10; 1 Pet. 2:24)

The Resurrection

We believe Jesus Christ rose bodily from the grave the third day. (Mark 16:1–18)

Christ Our High Priest

We believe Jesus is our great High Priest who makes intercession for us. (Rom. 8:34)

Salvation by Faith Alone

We believe salvation is a gift received by faith alone in Jesus Christ. (Rom. 6:23; Acts 16:30–31; Eph. 2:8–9)

Baptism

We believe in baptism by immersion as taught in Scripture. (Rom. 6:3–5; Acts 8:38–39)

Separated Christian Living

We believe Christians should live separated from worldly and sinful practices. (2 Cor. 6:14–18)

The Rapture

We believe Jesus will come to receive His Bride unto Himself. (1 Thes. 4:13–17; 1 Cor. 15:51–53)

The Second Coming

We believe Christ will return bodily and visibly to establish His earthly kingdom. (Zech. 14:4; Rev. 5:9–14)

We Stand Firm

We stand for the verbally inspired Word of God, the Trinity, the deity of Christ, His blood atonement, salvation by faith, separation from the world, biblical soul-winning, and the pre-millennial return of Jesus Christ.
