Hello, my name is Mary. I’m 18 years old. I grew up in New York. When I was sixteen, I left the Amish and moved to Tennessee. I lived in Tennessee until September 28, 2024. Then I came to Ohio to New Beginnings Homestead for four months so they could help me with some things. It was really good for me. I’m really glad I came, and I am so thankful for everything they helped me with and did for me.I worked at Beyond Measure Market with some really good people. I made great connections with the customers, my coworkers, and the girls at the apartment. I am thankful for all the friends I made and the memories I’ve created. These are memories I will never forget. They are like family to me now.
If you leave the Amish or are young and need help, I would recommend going to New Beginnings Homestead. They will help you.
