A poem written by Esther Keim after her miscarriage on Valentine’s Day 1996. Writing this poem helped a lot with the emotional healing of the heart.
LITTLE STAR
I was glad to know that you named me Little Star
As it will help me when I shine for you in a land afar
Just to know that you cared enough for me
Even though you knew I'd never be
Thanks big bro and sis for praying for me
Even tho' you will never get to hold me on earth
And I am sure you're sorry I had to die
I'll be waiting for you in my home beyond the sky
And I'm sure my mother and my dad
Were wondering would I be good or would I be bad
Now they don't have to worry at all
As I'm already in heaven having a ball
Even tho' you'll miss holding me in your arms
I have a better home beyond the stars
