Ye Must Be Born Again - Joe Keim
May 30, 2017Jesus was very clear: if you want to see and enter the Kingdom of God, you must be born the second time (John 3:1-7). The Scriptures go on to tell us the second birth is Super Natural, meaning the event cannot be manufactured by ministry workers or any other family member. It is strictly a work of God. Furthermore, the second birth, according to Peter 1:23-25, is only possible when someone first plants the incorruptible Seed – God’s Word – in a lost person’s heart. From there, God will take the Seed and bring the second birth to fruition; that is, if the lost person is willing to accept God’s gift of everlasting life.

In chapter Genesis 3, Adam willfully surrendered that dominion to Satan - Satan is called “the god [or ruler] of this world” (2 Corinthians 4:4). In Matthew 4:8-9, Satan offers to give the world’s kingdoms to Jesus if He would just bow down and worship him. Instead, Jesus went to the cross, died and rose from the dead; therefore He was able to take the authority and power from Satan and hand it back to the church.
