Precious Children

But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh! Matthew 18:6-7
The Bible tells us that children are very precious to Jesus. We must be certain to raise our children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord, and to be an example for them of our loving, gentle, and patient Heavenly Father.
In our humanness, we will sometimes lose our tempers. We will sometimes get angry. Let us never, though, hurt our children in anger. Let us never abuse our children (or our spouse) in any way. Let us encourage and love our children, being as gentle and patient with them as we want God to be with us.
Loving discipline may at times be necessary, but may we never, ever be guilty of physically, sexually, or emotionally abusing our children.
Do you tell your children that you love them? If not, why not? God tells His children that He loves them! Do you tell your children that you are proud of them when they try to please you? Why not?
Is lust or sexual addiction destroying you and as a result, destroying your family? Lust, addiction, anger, and all sin can be overcome through Jesus.
