A Message for the Amish

The following article was written by a Miskito Indian, living in the deepest jungles of Nicaragua. She shared how the Lord gave her a clear message in the middle of the night.

Even though she has never met a single Amish person in her life, she said, “the Lord made it very clear to me—print and mail it out to Amish people.”

Eli and Leah Lee, former Amish missionaries in Nicaragua, hand delivered the article to our ministry and asked if we would include it in the Amish Voice.

How is the life of people? Some people understand that I am the Savior, while others have no idea about my love. I the Lord want to teach you all, so that the ones who don't understand may understand, and the ones who have some understanding may fully understand that I am the Lord. Therefore, I am telling you.

I am your God! I love you people! I want to teach you all about freedom and how you can receive salvation. I am your God. I did not come to have you in bondage, but I left freedom in your hands. I did not leave you on your own! I promised you that I would be with you to the end of the world, with freedom, humility, and with gentleness to bring you salvation.

Come to me, and I will lead you because I, Jesus Christ, am the door to salvation.

Let me give you an example. When a person with a truck starts the engine to let it warm up, you know that he is getting ready for a journey. You can ask him if he can take you along. You can get on and go as far as he's going without any cost to you. He will watch over you and protect you to take you safely to where he's going.

Every person who seeks Jesus will find Him. Jesus is the way to heaven. By grace He will give you salvation and will lead you free of charge by the power of the Holy Spirit to lead a life pleasing to him.

I, God, desire to bring you close to Me. Therefore, I am going to extra lengths to tell you so that you may understand that you are free children and are not under the law. But Satan has lied to you about having to be under strict rules and to hate the love that Jesus has for you. He has you believing that receiving salvation is nothing to be considered.

I am your God and I see you, how so many of you are lost, following only after rules, having no idea about the cliff that you are about to fall off.

Listen to me, get to know Jesus and search for understanding into the truth, because I am willing to teach you.

For the sake of righteousness, give yourselves to be ridiculed and to be excommunicated, because it's just people doing it. But I your Lord love you! They excommunicated Me first, and did all kinds of evil to Me because of righteousness.

But I overcame all that, and sit next to My Father now. I am willing to take everyone who seeks Me, and bring them close to Me. My promise is true. I the Lord speak the truth!

To follow after harsh rules will not save you, because you do not know the truth. The Holy Spirit alone will teach you the truth, but not by following after rules. I the Lord speak the truth!
