Amish Voice, Please continue with articles based on the Word of God. I very much appreciate your Feedback and Response Section, where you try and respond back according to the Word of God. It seems in our time, a lot of people will approve of something because other people approve it. Or, they will be opposed to something because other people give a negative report. Instead, lets search the Scripture and study to shew thyself approved unto God, rightly dividing the Word of Truth.

SL: Thank you very much for your kind letter. You sound like you are very wise. We love to hear from our readers, and while not all the letters we receive are as nice as yours, our readers have many good things to share with us.
You are very right in that many people often approve or disapprove of something simply because of what they were taught or because of what others do, without knowing what God’s Word actually says. We encourage our readers not to just tell us what they believe, but to go to the Word of God and seek God’s wisdom and truth.
We hope that our readers spend time every day alone with God in prayer and in Bible reading, and even that they spend time as families praying, reading the Bible, and singing hymns together.
I hope we all live by the verse that you mentioned: Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15).
