Wolves Dressed in Sheep's Clothing, by AM

Please do not send us a single issue of the false doctrine you print. It is clearly false doctrine. The Lord will judge. The reason we unsubscribed is because of false doctrine, and did not Jesus say we should be careful of wolves that come dressed in sheep clothing. No, it’s not even dressed in sheep clothing - it’s wolves through and through. Don’t want to hear more from you.
— AM
I wish you would have taken the time to explain why you feel we are giving out false doctrine. You obviously do not believe that the doctrine we write about aligns with what you believe. This leaves me with some questions:
- What measuring stick are you using to measure our doctrine?
- Is your measuring stick in alignment with God’s Word, or are you measuring our doctrine with a list of personal preferences?
- Think! Is your measuring stick worth dying for?
Only you can answer these questions. There is a day coming when we will be measured by the very same measuring stick that we use on each other.
If your measuring stick and mine are different—it appears they are—it would be to our advantage to figure out who is holding the right one.
Instead of judging me without giving details, why don’t we sit down, lay all pride aside, and do what the early church did?
Acts 17:11 says,
“These [Bereans] were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.”
Why were the Bereans more noble (more honorable)? Because they didn’t run, and they didn’t judge. Instead, they came together and “searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.”
I challenge you to do the same! We have little time to spare. Lay your pride aside and let’s be noble like the Bereans and search the scriptures daily to see why you feel we are teaching false doctrine and are wolves in sheep's clothing.
Heavenly Father, I sincerely pray for AM. Soften his heart and give him a deep desire to know and follow You. Draw near to him and fill him with Your Spirit. Make the scriptures come alive in his heart and devour his body, his spirit and his soul. Thank you Father for answering our cry. —Joe Keim
