Prayer Meeting

Every Wednesday night we gather at New Beginnings Homestead to pray, which is something we have done every week for 20 years. The group has never gotten very big, but the ones who come mean business. We fight for lost and back-slid souls. We fight for the MAP ministries, our donors, volunteers, staff and the many others who serve on the front line. We fight for each other. Join us if you live close by. 

The Word of God is full of accounts describing the power of prayer in various situations. The power of prayer has:

1. Overcome enemies (Psalm 6:9-10)
2. Conquered death (2 Kings 4:3-36)
3. Brought healing(James 5:14-15)
4. Defeated demons (Mark 9:29)

God, through prayer, opens eyes, changes hearts, heals wounds, and grants wisdom (James 1:5).

The power of prayer should never be underestimated because it draws on the glory and might of the infinitely powerful God of the universe!
