About the Author:
Mattie was born to an Amish bishop and his second wife. At age 51, she did the unthinkable and left the Amish community. Most of her family left at the same time. They were all banned and are still being strictly shunned. Without Jesus, Mattie would not have had the strength to do it. This is the first book she has written.
