It seems a simple thing to say, but all peace and joy and happiness comes from the knowledge of God and His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. The Bible says, "Grace and Peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus Christ our Lord." (2 Peter 1:2)

God used His truth to change us. Jesus said, "Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free." (John 8:32)

Have a hunger for God: Jesus said, "Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness; for they shall be filled." (Matthew 5:6)

Meditate on God's truth: Meditating is like a cow chewing her cud. She has taken food and is digesting it. She is letting it become a part of her. We are transformed by the renewing of our mind" - loving God's truth and letting it change us.

Live the truth: You think about the truth. You admire it. You commit yourself to it. You begin to live it. Jeremiah said, "Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and Thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: For I am called by Thy name, O Lord God of Hosts." (Jeremiah 15:16)

If God has put a hunger for Himself in you, He means to satisfy your desire for Him. He is "the Living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy." (1 Timothy 6:17)
