Amish Descendent Scholarship Awards |
From Emma Miller: “We started working on this fund a long time ago and it feels amazing to finally reach our end goal and award the scholarship money to someone who is working hard to overcome the challenges of studying without parental support. If you come from an Amish background and wish to go to college, please get in touch with us. We are here to offer encouragement, answer questions and to give you the chance to win the scholarship next year. We will tell you a little bit about our scholarship winners so our donors know where their money has gone. Thank you to all of you who have helped by donating to ADSF. Our first scholarship of $1000goes to Marietta in Florida who is finally pursuing her dream of going to college. She is just starting out and we are happy to be able to offer her a little bit of financial support. She strongly feels that God has led her to start her journey in studying Business Management and she is excited to be working on her prerequisites.
Our second winner of the ADSF scholarshipis Ruth. She left the Amish many years ago in order to continue her education, but with no financial support, she found herself working full time and studying part time. Finally, 14 years later she is close to finishing her goal. She wishes to use her education to help people and she's studying Social Work and plans to work with teenagers.

Missing Boys Could Be With Amish |
Please read and share this story and the poster! We received news that three little boys who have been missing from Michigan for two years could have been placed among Amish families. Here is the story: WE HAVE REASON TO BELIEVE THAT THEY COULD BE IN AN AMISH COMMUNITY. PLEASE HELP US GET THE WORD OUT TO THESE COMMUNITIES ACROSS THE COUNTRY. Please re-post, print off flyers and take to these communities or send us a message of an Amish area and will try and mail flyers. Please help us since they (the Amish) don't have the communication to access the internet/Facebook. |

The picture shows John holding his US citizenship certificate, after he and I drove to Cleveland to finish the paperwork at the immigration office. John got saved several months ago and has been faithfully meeting for discipleship. He and I are going through the book: The Stranger on the Road to Emmaus.” Congratulations, John! |
