Experience a Life-Changing Weekend! March 25 - 27, 2021 I know. It is a lot less stressful when we can just sit in that boat and coast on down the river. We stay dry. Protected. Relaxed. Normal. Comfortable. We fit in with the multitudes...that is, until Jesus calls our name and we have little or nothing to show. We don't particularly like it. Life is dead and monotonous. We'd love to make an impact in THIS generation. We may have wondered what it would be like to experience the supernatural and holy anointing of God's power in our life, but we can't seem to get out of our boat. We are stuck in a rut. It is for those reasons, and many others, that God burdened us to organize the "Step Out of the Boat Conference" - March 25, 26, and 27. YOU are officially invited to come and hear testimonies from others who stepped out. Hear what God is doing through them. Let us lay hands on each other and pray for each other. Come on. We have little time to waste. The time is NOW! Let's make a difference. Together! What to Expect You will meet other Christians who are also hungering and thirsting to hear from God. We will all be encouraged and challenged to get out of the rut, put away our idols, and follow Jesus Christ wholeheartedly. Fifteen Spirit-filled, blood-bought men and women are scheduled to share what God did when they stepped out of the boat. Each person has 20 minutes. Worship will be led by our very own Jimmi Delay. We will pray for each other. Connect and network with the larger body of Jesus Christ and get involved in a ministry. The conference will begin right at 7pm on Thursday, March 25, go all day Friday, and end about noon on Saturday. A light breakfast and full meals are being served—Friday night is the BIG one, with meat loaf and all the fix’ns. If you need a place to stay for the night, you can check the nearby cities of Mansfield or Norwalk for hotel, or we will do our best to find a home for you. So, come on, move away from your comfort zone and join us this March for the Step Out of the Boat Conference. You will be challenged to get busy about our heavenly Father’s business, as well as encouraged in your faith. You desperately need it, and so do we! We are also suggesting a registration payment of $25/person, $40/couple, or $60/family when you register. The registration monies will help us cover the cost of food and provide some gift certificates for the volunteers who are jumping at the bit to serve you. Exhibit Setup Are you interested in setting up an exhibit at the Step Out of the Boat Conference? All exhibits and exhibitors must be reviewed and approved by the committee. If approved, you will be provided with an 8' table and an electrical outlet. The cost for a display is $75 (which includes one conference registration). Exhibits are intended to be culturally acceptable, spiritually edifying, and non-controversial. Selling products is permitted only after committee approval. Children’s Ministry: Rachel Arnold will be heading up our children's ministry and will be teaching curriculum with a focus on The Armor of God and Ephesians 6. The curriculum is designed for children ages 4-12. Nursery: A staffed nursery will also be available for children under the age of 4.
