To Our Dearest Lost Brother

All names have been changed to protect the innocent.
To Our Dearest Lost Brother,
I will try to write a few lines with a very sad breaking heart. John we still can’t believe that you have left us and most of all have let yourself down that far that you had to choose this very dangerous path. Never did we think or believe that you would choose that dangerous path in these last trying times. And you used to be able to explain the scripture so good. Did you get that far away from the scripture and God? How come you couldn’t put your whole trust in God then? We hope and pray for you every day that you will come back before it is too late.
One thing I hope is that you will never get married in that life style or have children in that world. John please wake up. What does the scripture mean then if it says we shall bloom where we are seeded. You sure weren’t seeded or brought up like that. Why? Why? Couldn’t you put your whole trust in God like you claim you do now?
It’s so very, very sad you have actually let God down that far. John we still love you so, so much and miss you terribly. We hope and pray for you every day that you will come home, but not in that sin.
Please don’t come home in that life style as I don’t want my children to ever see their dearest Uncle in them clothes. Please don’t let them forget you.
With all our Love, a sister and family that’s broken to pieces. Miriam and Elmer, Melvin, Lena, Marvin, Benji and Jonas Shetler.
PS It’s still so hard to grasp that you are doing this. Why? Why? If Tears Were Gold We’d Be Rich
