Should Amish have Photo IDs?

The Amish are an exceptional people. All sorts of exceptions apply to them.

They don't participate in or receive the benefits of Social Security or Medicare. They set their own standards for education, which are not in sync with state standards.

And — this may come as a surprise — they are not required to carry passports — with or without photos — when they travel to Canada and Mexico.
