I a welcome and enjoy discussions about the Amish way of life. After receiving questions about what it’s like to be a young Amish woman and if I’d like to have a less strict way of life, I was motivated to grab my pen and write a response to those questions.

So who are the Amish? Is it what is read in Beverly Lewis’s popular fiction books about the Amish? Is it like the far-out Amish Mafia shows? Or are they a strict group of people who refuse to socialize with the rest of the world?
