Verne Troyer, Mini-Me in Austin Powers Movies, Dies at 49

Verne Troyer, the actor and stunt performer best known for playing Mini-Me in the Austin Powers movie franchise, died on Saturday. He was 49.
His spokesman confirmed his death but did not specify the cause or where he died.
A statement on Mr. Troyer’s Facebook page on Saturday said he had gone through a “recent time of adversity” and that “depression and suicide are very serious issues.”
