GoFundMe to help family after violent horse-and-buggy crash in Yates County exceeds $30,000

YATES COUNTY - The fundraiser for the family impacted by a crash involving a car and horse-and-buggy in Yates County has surpassed its goal.

On August 9th deputies reported that a man was driving his vehicle the same direction as a horse-and-buggy was traveling on East Sherman Road in the town of Jerusalem.

That’s when the two collided. The family of seven, who were inside the carriage, were violently thrown from it.
