Letter to my Mom

Dear Mom,
I hope this letter finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to explain to you why I left the Amish community and how I am better serving Jesus Christ as a result.
As you know, my faith has always been an important part of my life, and I have always felt a strong connection to Jesus Christ. However, as I grew older, I began to feel that my faith was being constrained by the limitations and traditions of the Amish community. While I respect and honor our heritage, I realized that there was more that I could do to serve God and live out my faith.
After much prayer and reflection, I made the difficult decision to leave the Amish community and pursue a new path that would allow me to better serve Jesus Christ. This has not been an easy journey, and I have faced many challenges along the way. But through it all, I have felt a deep sense of peace and purpose, knowing that I am following God's calling for my life.
I want you to know that I still love and respect our family and the Amish community. My decision to leave was not a rejection of our heritage or values, but rather a desire to live out my faith in a way that is authentic and meaningful to me. I hope that you can understand and support me in this decision, even if it is not the path that you would have chosen for me.
I know that our family has a deep faith in Jesus Christ, and I believe that He is leading me on a path that will allow me to serve Him in new and meaningful ways. I hope that you can continue to pray for me and support me in this journey, even if it is not always easy to understand.
Thank you for your love and understanding, and please know that I will always cherish our family and the memories we share.
With love and respect,
Mahlon Miller
