Our Mission:
We have been called as a ministry to provide a Homestead for the young, vulnerable women that leave the Amish culture. We want to give them a place they can land, feel safe, and get the help they need to succeed on their own.
The ministry provides basic Life Skills such as:
The Need:
We would like to invite you to come alongside and help us and the women who come to New Beginnings. You can do so by giving a one time gift or a monthly reoccurring gift.

Our Life Coach:
At New Beginnings, Deb Strong serves as a Life Coach, guiding and mentoring young women as they navigate their journeys. With a deep-rooted passion for God’s Word and a heart for helping others, Deb is dedicated to offering wisdom, encouragement, and biblical counsel to those in her care.
Raised in Ashland, Ohio, by Godly parents, Deb’s love for Scripture began early and has remained a central part of her life. She is a wife, mom, grandma, and great-grandma who lives by the principle of keeping God first and family second.
Deb’s gift for counseling was recognized even in high school, when friends predicted she would one day take on such a role. Though she initially had no interest in pursuing a formal degree, God led her to earn a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice with a minor in substance abuse, followed by a Pastoral Clinical Counseling Degree from Ashland Theological Seminary. She has spent nearly four decades working with children and families through Richland County Children Services, Mid Ohio Educational Service Center, and Goal Digital Academy.
Her journey has also included a battle with breast cancer, which she overcame through faith, family, and the support of her church community. Now, as a Life Coach, she draws from her experiences to walk alongside the young women at New Beginnings, helping them grow spiritually, emotionally, and personally.
Deb’s heart is for mentorship, restoration, and guiding others toward a life of faith and purpose. She is a steady presence, offering encouragement and biblical wisdom to those seeking a fresh start.
