June 27, 2016 (Car-buggy crash)
LAWRENCEBURG, TENNESSEE - A 24-year-old man is in critical condition after he was hit by a car while riding in an Amish Buggy.
Albert Mast, 24, and Daniel Miller, 24, were both inside the buggy when it happened. Mast was taken to South Tennessee Regional Heath Systems Hospital and later transported to Vanderbilt Hospital where he is currently in critical but stable condition.

SADSBURY, PENNSYLVANIA - At least two people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash involving a horse and buggy in Chester County.
The victims were taken to area hospitals. The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.

PLYMOUTH, INDIANA - Five people were taken to the hospital following a crash in Marshall County Monday night.
The crash happened around 6 p.m. on U.S. 6 near Playmore Campgrounds when a car struck a horse-drawn buggy from behind. Several passengers were ejected from the buggy.

MIFFLIN TOWNSHIP, PENNSYLVANIA - State police in Dauphin County are investigating a crash involving an Amish horse drawn carriage that seriously injured multiple people.
The carriage, operated by a 30-year-old man, had four passengers, including children 2, 3 and 5 years old. There were serious injuries and ejections as a result of the crash, police said.

HEUVELTON, NEW YORK - Amish man flown to Syracuse hospital with broken neck following car-buggy crash.
Mr. Harris was heading south in his red GMC pickup truck when he struck a buggy driven by Thomas M. Swartzentruber, 52, of Heuvelton, from behind, ejecting the Amish man from the buggy.

FERGUS FALLS, MINNESOTA - Three people were hurt Friday afternoon, including a mother and baby, when a car struck an Amish buggy on Highway 29 in Otter Tail County.
A horse-drawn Amish buggy, driven by Ruth S. Gingerich, 24, was also eastbound on Highway 29. With her was a baby, Mattie A. Gingerich.

MONROE, MINNESOTA - A Viola motorcyclist was injured Sunday night when he crashed into the back of an Amish buggy in rural Monroe County.
White was thrown from the bike, which came to rest inside the buggy, ejecting driver William Borntreger, 22, and passenger Susie Borntreger, 21, both of Wilton.

WADENA, MINNESOTA - Three people were hurt Friday afternoon, including a mother and baby, when a car struck an Amish buggy on Highway 29 in Otter Tail County.
The woman and infant in the buggy were both ejected; however the infant was secured in a child safety seat, which may have prevented more serious injuries.

MIDDLEBURY, INDIANA — Two people, including a 4-year-old, were taken to the hospital Thursday after a car rear-ended and flipped an Amish buggy near Middlebury.
The buggy flipped and the driver suffered a cut to her head and other scrapes. The 4-year-old was taken to the hospital to treat small cuts and get an internal check-up.

Millersburg, Indiana - Four people were injured, including a 6-week-old baby, after an Amish buggy was rear-ended by a Ford Focus just north of Millersburg.
A 17-year-old girl was driving north on S.R. 13 just south of C.R. 34 around 2:45 p.m. Sunday when she got distracted and didn’t notice a horse drawn buggy with an Amish family from Middlebury on board traveling in the same direction in her lane.

LaFayette, Kentucky - A 19-year-old LaFayette woman was killed in a wreck with a horse-drawn buggy shortly after 7:30 a.m. Friday on LaFayette Road.

Lancaster, Pennsylvania - A van full of passengers collided with a car in southern Lancaster County this morning, injuring four people and closing Route 896 for nearly two hours, authorities said.
Lancaster County-Wide Communications classified the crash as a "mass casualty incident" to bring additional medics to the scene and also place a medical helicopter on standby.

Wood County, Ohio - A horse involved in a car-buggy crash did not sustain major injuries.
The Wood County Sheriff’s Office reports that the horse, named Hanover, was taken to Findlay Veterinary Clinic following the Wednesday incident and sustained minor injuries.

Wood County, Ohio - A female occupant of a horse-drawn buggy was taken to the hospital with injuries after the buggy and car collided this afternoon on Ohio 25 south of U.S. 6.
A male and two children who were in the buggy went to the hospital along with the woman, but were not reported to be injured, according to the Wood County Sheriff's Office.
New Holland, Pennsylvania - This is the kind of accident report you only see in Amish Country.
Fortunately, no one was hurt, although some humans and a horse most certainly got a scare Sunday night during a near-collision between a buggy and a motorcycle at Kinzer Avenue and Jackson Street in New Holland. The buggy driver was at fault, borough police said.

Police were called to the intersection of US 35 and Newman Road, just south of Economy, arounf 9:30 p.m. Thursday.

Wooster, Ohio - A 71-year-old man was seriously injured Wednesday when a horse pulled his buggy into the path of an oncoming dump truck.
Clark Howell, of Wooster, was flown to Akron City Hospital with serious injuries, according to a news release from the Ohio Highway Patrol.

Middlebury, Indiana - An Indiana State Police trooper hit an Amish buggy just south of Middlebury on Sunday night, leaving both the trooper and Amish man with non life-threatening injuries.
The Amish man, a 20-year-old, was driving a horse and buggy west on C.R. 20 when he allegedly ran a stop sign at S.R. 13 around 10:45 p.m., according to an Indiana State Police press release. A state police corporal was driving a marked patrol car north on S.R. 13 and hit the buggy after it pulled into his path.

Clark County, Wisconsin - The Clark County Sheriff's Office was called Saturday night, around 11:00, for the report of a vehicle vs buggy crash.
The crash happened on State Highway 29 near Sterling Avenue in the Township of Withee. The initial investigation shows a Toyota RAV4 was traveling east on 29 when it struck a runaway horse and buggy head-on.

It happened around 6 a.m. along Route 254 in the Millville area.

Edmonton, Alberta, Canda – Five people have been taken to hospital by both ground ambulances and STARS Air Ambulance following a serious collision on Highway 16 near RR 32.
“Two people suffered life-threatening injuries, while three others are believed to have received serious but not life-threatening injuries,” RCMP said Saturday.

It happened around 1 a.m. near South Rolland Road in Rolland Township.

Sparta Township, Pennsylvania - A Union City man was killed Sunday when the motorcycle he was operating collided with a horse and buggy.
James Norman Kent, 57, was traveling east on Route 77 at about 3:20 p.m. on a 2009 Can-Am Spyder, when a horse and buggy operated by a 17-year-old male from Spartansburg pulled from the westbound lane right in front of Kent, police report.

Fryburg, Pennsylvania - There was an accident along Route 208 in Fryburg that left one person dead and another two injured when a box truck crashed into an Amish buggy. This happened on Thursday afternoon, March 17, 2016 and the person who died was identified as Eli Mast and the other two were identified as Rudy Mast and Amon Mast, believed to be part of the Amish community.

Anthony Township, Pennsylvania - An Amish man riding in his buggy near Exchange on Route 44 was killed during a collision at 5:05 p.m. Thursday.
Pennsylvania State Police at Milton said 77-year-old John Yoder Hostetler, 77, of rural Danville, was traveling west on State Route 44 in a horse and buggy when Anthony Daniel Byers, 20, of Turbotville, struck the buggy from behind in a 2002 Chevorlet Silverado. Hostetler was declared dead on the scene, as was the horse attached to the buggy, police said.

Mt. Victory, Ohio - One person was injured in a crash involving a pickup and horse drawn buggy that occurred this morning on State Route 31 at County Road 190.
According to information from the Hardin County Sheriff's Office, at around 6:40 this morning, the buggy operated by Daniel Lambright, of Mt. Victory, was struck by a pickup truck being driven by 34 year old Scott Snoke, of Forest.

Pennsylvania State Police said Samual K. Stoltzfoos Jr., 20, of Holtwood, was injured after his buggy was hit by a car while traveling eastbound on Martic Heights Drive just west of Rawlinsville Road. The crash happened just before 7 a.m., police said.

Lancaster, Pennsylvania - A south-central Pennsylvania police chief says an Amish buggy and a car crashed head-on, injuring four people in the buggy and one person in the automobile.
LNP reported (http://bit.ly/1CFqBrV ) the Wednesday morning crash east of Lancaster resulted in serious injuries. East Lampeter Township Police Chief John Bowman didn't know the conditions of the five people injured.

Clark County, Wisconsin - The driver of a horse drawn buggy was killed in a crash with a logging truck near Dorchester Thursday afternoon, according to Sheriff Gregory Herrick.
Investigators say Aaron Newswanger, 50, of rural Dorchester died in the crash on County Highway A in the Township of Mayville.

Timothy Brown was charged by the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office after allegedly losing control of his vehicle in slippery road conditions on the top of a hill as he as heading south on Burdick.

The Logan County Sheriff's Office reports that Diana Seiler, 65, of 470 Spruce Street, Lakeview, was driving a 2015 Volkswagen Jetta southbound on 235 south of County Road 27 when she struck the rear of a southbound buggy operated by Mary Schwartz, 35, of 5516 Township Road 212, Bellefontaine.

Goshen, Indiana - Authorities in Indiana shared video from the aftermath of an unusual road crash between two horse-drawn buggies.
The Elkhart County Sheriff's Department said a buggy traveling south along County Road 41, east of Goshen, went left of center Friday night and struck another buggy traveling northbound.
