GRAVES COUNTY, KY - Emergency crews rushed to a crash involving an Amish buggy and a vehicle in Graves County on Monday morning, June 28.
It happened around 6:40 a.m. in the 3900 block of U.S. Highway 45 South near Pritchett Road.

YATES COUNTY, NY – A car vs. horse & buggy accident occurred at 4:09 p.m. Sunday, June 13 on Rte. 364 near Voak Road. Yates County Deputies, Penn Yan Ambulance Corps, Potter Fire Dept., Middlesex Ambulance, Medic 55, and Emergency Management responded.
Deputies report the vehicle driven by Robert A. Clark, 55, of Hollister St., Dundee, struck the buggy from behind while both were traveling west.

WADSWORTH, OH - A 33-year-old man died Friday night when a westbound car on state Route 226 in Wayne County hit him as he walked behind two horses pulling farm equipment.
The accident took place in rural Clinton Township, about 30 miles southwest of Wadsworth in Wayne County.
According to Ohio State Highway Patrol reports, a 42-year-old woman from Millersburg in Holmes County failed to maintain a safe distance and struck the man with her 2008 Acura.

MEDINA COUNTY, OH — Authorities say a juvenile who was operating an Amish buggy has died following a crash Thursday morning in Medina County’s Homer Township.
The incident happened at 7:13 a.m. on Route 301 near U.S. 224. Authorities say a 2013 Ford F-150 was northbound on Route 301 “when it struck the Amish horse and buggy in the rear.”

WARREN, PA — A Warren County man alleged to have to have struck an Amish buggy with his van — injuring the driver and killing the horse — was held for court as a result of a Wednesday preliminary hearing.
Gary L. O’Donnell, 67, of Sugar Grove was charged by Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police in late March from the incident that occurred on Feb. 19.

Troopers said a 2011 Hyundai Sonata was traveling west on US 422 near state Route 282 in Parkman Township when it came upon a horse drawn buggy also traveling west on US 422.

Henry Allgeyer, 61, and Arie Allgeyer, 60, both of Platteville, suffered minor injuries in the crash, according to the Grant County Sheriff’s Department.

CRAWFORD COUNTY, PA - A Spartansburg-area woman has admitted in court to causing a hit-and-run crash last summer that seriously injured a young Amish couple and their two small children.
Lindsay Nicole Raines pleaded guilty Thursday before Judge Mark Stevens in Crawford County Court of Common Pleas to two counts of accidents involving death or personal injury filed by Pennsylvania State Police in connection with the July 5 crash. Raines, 35, of 42192 Canadohta Lake Road, now faces up to 12 years in jail when she is sentenced later this year by Stevens.

The work is occurring between C.R. 35 and C.R. 31.

A 2002 Ford ZX2 driven by 70-year-old Johney M. Hogan of Java was traveling east on Route 40, four tenths of a mile west of Route 667, at 1:20 p.m., when it struck a horse and buggy in the rear, the report states.

BARRON COUNTY DISTRICT, WI - An intoxicated pickup truck driver crashed into a horse-drawn Amish buggy in western Wisconsin and killed one of two teenage brothers, according to charges.
Anthony R. Anderson, 40, was charged in Barron County District Court with homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle and related counts in connection with the crash on Feb. 18 near Rice Lake that killed a 17-year-old Levi Miller. His 16-year-old brother, Joseph Miller, was less seriously injured.

ASHLAND COUNTY, OH — A 43-year-old Ashland man was taken to the hospital Saturday afternoon with serious injuries after the horse-drawn buggy he was driving was struck by a Ford Fusion.
Authorities with the Ashland Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol say the incident happened around 6:10 p.m. on Route 96 near Township Road. When troopers responded to the scene, they reported finding a 2014 Fusion and the buggy off the south side of the roadway.

The crash happened Sunday night on Route 655 in Menno Township. Two individuals were life-flighted due to the severity of their injuries. Two others were assessed for complaints of injury with Geisinger Lewistown Hospital and EMS at the scene.

In a statement, Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald says a 17-year-old injured in the crash died Thursday night. A 16-year-old, also in the buggy, suffered minor injuries.

GOUVERNEUR, NY - A Northern New York man was killed Sunday when an SUV hit his horse-drawn buggy.
New York State Police say Levi Swartzentruber, 23, and Mose Swartzentruber, 20, both of Antwerp, were riding in their Amish buggy at about 5:15 a.m. in Gouverneur. That’s when investigators say James Shuster, 36, of Brushton, hit the buggy with his Ford Expedition.

BERLIN, OH - The Ohio State Highway Patrol is working to locate the driver it says was involved in a hit-and-run crash.
The highway patrol said its Wooster Post is looking into the crash that happened on Feb. 6 at 8:34 a.m. on Somerset Drive (Township Road 359) near US 62.
According to a press release, a horse and buggy was traveling on Somerset Drive and was struck from behind by a newer gray Subaru Impreza. The highway patrol said the Subaru continued on Township Road 359 and onto US 62 in Berlin.

According to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, a horse and buggy was traveling north near the Chandlers Road area around 2 p.m. on Saturday.

HIGHLAND COUNTY, OH - The driver of a horse-drawn buggy is dead in a Highland County crash that remains under investigation, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
It happened just after noon Tuesday on U.S. 62 South in New Market Township.
A southbound 2006 Chevrolet Impala driven by Corey Gardner, 18, of West Union, struck the buggy from behind, state troopers said in a news release.

Police say the individual manning the buggy, a fifteen-year-old boy, left a private drive with the intention of traveling northbound on CR 000. He was with another child, age 12.

ALGANSEE TOWNSHIP, MI — A woman has been killed and her husband and five children hurt after the horse pulling their buggy veered in front of a pickup truck in southern Michigan.
Barbara Jo Schwartz, 39, died at an Indiana hospital following the 8:50 a.m. Friday crash in Algansee Township, according to Branch County sheriff's deputies.
