THOMPSON TOWNSHIP - A Bellevue man was killed Monday morning in a one-vehicle crash in Seneca County, according to the Norwalk Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Brian Sampsel, 41, of Bellevue, was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS personnel, according to the Patrol.

ASHLAND COUNTY, OH - A 58-year-old man has been charged with drunk driving after crashing into an Amish buggy that carrying two children on Thursday.
The Ashland County Sherriff's Office responded to the crash on State Route 96 just after 6:30 p.m. A witness told dispatchers that the driver responsible for the crash was walking away and that two Amish children, ages five and seven, had sustained injuries.

HENDERSON TOWNSHIP, PA – Someone struck an Amish buggy on Route 119 near Stump Creek recently.
The vehicle, simply described as an unknown Ford, had been trying to pass two or three vehicles, including the buggy, on Dec. 16.
The vehicle cut back into the lane quickly to avoid a van coming in the opposite direction.

TOWNSHIP OF FENNIMORE, WI - Two people received minor injuries after their horse-drawn buggy collided with a vehicle and then fell into a ditch, the Grant County Sheriff’s Office reports Monday.
Authorities’ investigation found that David Noel III, 63, was driving south on County Road F in the Township of Fennimore when he looked down to grab something from inside his car. The sheriff’s office stated that when Noel looked back up, he saw a horse and buggy on the right shoulder of the road going southbound.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, VA — Two parents were killed and their eight children are injured following a crash Sunday night involving a horse-drawn buggy in Cumberland County.
Virginia State Police say the crash happened on Route 45 near Davis Lane when a 2005 Toyota Tundra hit a horse-drawn buggy on Sunday, Oct. 17. Ten people were riding in the buggy at the time it was struck.

KINCARDINE, CANADA - One woman was air lifted to hospital with critical injuries after a crash involving a tractor and a horse and buggy near Kincardine on Monday.
Ornge air ambulance said two helicopters responded to the scene. The first landed around 11:05 a.m., the second was expected to arrive around 11:50 a.m., but later called off.

At about 9:25 p.m., the Grant County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a crash between a vehicle and an Amish buggy on Highway 35 near the Highway 81 turnoff at Porter's Bridge in the township of Beetown, Sheriff Nate Dreckman said in a statement.

WEST FALLOWFIELD TOWNSHIP — An infant girl was killed after being thrown from an Amish horse and buggy when it was rear-ended by a pick-up truck Thursday.
The infant was one of four children who were injured in the crash which took place on State Highway 18 at around 2:52 p.m., according to Pennsylvania State Police in Meadville. The girl was flown to UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh following the crash, but died of her injuries on Friday, police said.

TOWN OF PRAIRIE LAKE, WI - A woman is injured after her buggy was struck by a truck Tuesday evening in Barron County.
According to the Barron County Sheriff’s Department, a 21-year-old Amish woman was traveling westbound in a buggy drawn by a single horse on County Highway D in rural Barron County when she was hit from behind by a truck driven by a 42-year-old man from Rice Lake near 21st Street west of Chetek. The buggy then rolled into the ditch. The woman was taken to Mayo Hospital in Barron with non-life threatening injuries as a result of the crash.

YATES COUNTY - Following the Wednesday, July 21, crash that saw a vehicle rear-end a horse-drawn buggy on Route 14A, Yates County Sheriff Ron Spike said he has discussed the case with the district attorney for consideration of criminal negligence assault by a vehicle.
As it stands, the driver of the vehicle, William Valentin, 55, of Geneva, has already been charged with following too closely and failure to exercise due care when approaching a horse.
"I hesitate to even call it an accident," said Spike. "It is a crash... We are working on the presentation for the grand jury to consider criminal charges."

CLYMER, NY - An 18-year-old Clymer resident who Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies say was intoxicated while in control of an Amish buggy that crashed Thursday is facing charges.
Deputies along with Clymer firefighters were alerted to the accident around 6:15 p.m. at the intersection of Raspas Hill Road and Railroad Street in the town of Clymer. An investigation found that the 18-year-old was in “control of a horse and buggy while intoxicated, which resulted in the accident,” the Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol tells 3News that two eleven-year-old boys were flown to Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital. One of the boys was seriously injured, the other suffered minor injuries. A 30-year-old woman was taken to University Hospitals.

The THP preliminary report about the 9:14 a.m. crash says Noah Gingerich, 54, of Stantonville, Tennessee, was driving the buggy east on U.S. 64 in Crump. An eastbound 2015 Dodge Journey sport utility vehicle driven by Amanda Jones, 39, of Milan, Tennessee, collided with the rear of the buggy and the buggy fell on its side.

PRESTON, MN - The 15-year-old driver of an Amish buggy was killed Tuesday night after the Harmony teen's buggy was hit by a vehicle, the Fillmore County Sheriff's Office announced Wednesday morning.
Deputies were called about 8:25 p.m. Tuesday to a crash on Fillmore County Road 12, just east of its intersection with U.S. Highway 52. The initial investigation indicates that a pickup driven by a 39-year-old Hastings man was westbound on County Road 12 when it struck the rear of an Amish buggy traveling in the same direction.
