Adam L. West, 41, of Portland, was traveling north in his vehicle at about 7:45 p.m. on Thayer Road when it struck the horse and buggy, which was headed south and carrying four passengers, according to Chautauqua County sheriff's deputies.

A collision involving a pickup truck and an Amish buggy happened on KY 80 in Graves County south of Mayfield.
The Graves County Sheriff’s Office said the buggy and truck were traveling in the same direction when the truck hit the rear of the buggy. The impact caused the buggy to flip and throw out two men.

MADISON, WI - A mother and baby were reunited after the horse-driven Amish buggy carrying the infant got loose from being tied up from its post in Grant County and took off.
The Grant County Sheriff’s Office stated that it was notified around 10:30 a.m. Friday that the baby in the horse-drawn buggy had gone missing on Breezy Hill Road, in Hickory Grove Township, near Fennimore. Officials say the infant’s mother had tied the horse and buggy to a pole at a home, but the horse worked itself loose and rode off with the child still inside the wagon.

GALLIA COUNTY, OH — One juvenile is dead after a Ford Escape and Amish horse and buggy crashed in the Rio Grande area, the Gallipolis Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) said.
Around 4:52 p.m. on Friday, OSHP responded to the crash on State Route 325 and found two juveniles ejected from the buggy.

Windsor, MO – A man and a woman were both treated for injuries following a crash that took place in Henry County on Thursday evening. On October 6, the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a crash that took place on Northeast Highway Y.
At around 5:22 p.m., a collision between an Amish buggy and a 2000 Chevrolet Metro took place on Northeast Highway Y at the intersection of Northeast 1100 Road. Both vehicles suffered severe damage as a result of the crash. The two vehicles were removed from the scene following the accident.

Emergency medical services took 36-year-old Menno Hostetler to the Wright Memorial Hospital of Trenton. No injuries were reported for the driver of the SUV, 29-year-old Jinnifer Shuler of Spickard.

According to police, the boy, 15, was ejected from the accident that resulted in the death of the horse at rural Jackson County’s state Highway 32.

The jury found Ryan Nicholas Cherrico guilty on eight of nine counts. He was guilty of negligent manslaughter by auto, contributing to negligent manslaughter, homicide by vehicle, reckless driving, negligent driving, failure to stop after an accident involving damage, failure to render assistance and failure to report an incident to police.

State police and emergency crews were sent to the farm around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday morning at 2926 lower Brush Valley Road in Potter Township. According to the Centre County Coroner’s Office, Amish family members, Andrew Beiler, 47, and his two sons ages 14 and 19 died after they were trapped inside of a silo.

Holden, MO – An automobile accident involving a horse and buggy left multiple people injured on Saturday afternoon. Just after 1:45 p.m., on August 27, emergency crews were notified that a crash took place on Highway 58 that required assistance.
Preliminary reports surrounding the accident provided by trooper JD Hood show that a horse and buggy occupied by multiple people was traveling on Highway 58 in the area of Southwest 1001 Road. For unknown reasons, a 2003 Mercury crashed into the rear of the vehicle.

WAUPUN, WI - The 36-year-old Medford man convicted of causing a fatal crash was transferred to the Dodge Correctional Institution in Waupun on Friday. Skyler Opelt will begin his four-year prison sentence.
In June, Opelt pleaded no contest to homicide by negligent operation of a vehicle, and four counts of reckless driving during a plea deal.

The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday on Osborn Street.
Following an investigation into the accident, deputies believe that 30-year-old Naresh Kumar Venkatesan was traveling west on the Interstate 86 off ramp and failed to stop on Osborn Street, striking the Amish horse and buggy which was crossing the intersection.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, NY — New York State Police are investigating a crash involving a horse-drawn buggy and a SUV in Jefferson County. Troopers responded to the crash on County Rt. 15 in the Town of Orleans at 6:33 a.m. Saturday.
Investigators say an SUV was traveling south on County Rt. 15 when it came over a hill and crashed into the rear of the buggy. The operator of the buggy, Samuel A. Hostetler, 39, and the passenger, Mose Hostetler, 21, were both ejected from the buggy from the crash, troopers said.
