A man and woman were injured in a wreck involving a horse and buggy on South Road in Trigg County Sunday night.
Trigg County Sheriff’s deputies say a southbound SUV collided with the back of a southbound horse and buggy near the intersection of Kentucky 272 just before 6 p.m.

REEDSVILLE — Four people were injured yesterday afternoon as a result of a vehicle-buggy crash in Brown Township.
According to the Mifflin County Communications Center, the crash was reported at 2:24 p.m. Thursday on Route 655 near Shelly Drive in Reedsville.

Mercer County, PA - A Preble County man struck a buggy head-on in a Friday evening crash that killed a 1-year-old girl and injured her family, according to a release issued by Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey.
The crash happened just before 5:20 p.m. on state Route 49, north of Oregon Road in Liberty Twp. in Mercer County.

ADAMS COUNTY, IN – Police in Adams County are investigating a crash Wednesday that threw two people out of a buggy, sending them to the hospital.
Officers with the Adams County Sheriff’s Office responded to a crash with serious injuries on State Route 124 near County Road 500 E in Bluecreek Township, according to a release.

MILVERTON – The 13-year-old killed in a rural collision between a horse-drawn buggy and a motor vehicle was only a stone’s throw from his family home when the crash occurred, a neighbour says.
The teen had been driving himself and his eight-year-old brother home from school when their horse was “spooked into traffic,” said the neighbour, who declined to give his name, but identified himself as a member of the Old Order Amish community in Milverton, a rural community northeast of Stratford.

SWEGATCHIE, NY - One person is dead, and another was seriously injured after a truck hit a horse and buggy on Monday morning in Oswegatchie.
The crash happened on State Highway 812. Investigators said an Ogdensburgh man was driving a pickup truck heading south and told police he didn't see the Amish buggy that he ended up hitting.

LOVEVILLE, MD — Police are investigating a crash involving a horse and buggy and a pick-up truck in St. Mary's County.
It happened just before noon near the intersection of Route 5 and Pin Cushion Road in Loveville.
A spokesperson for St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office told WUSA9 four people were taken to the hospital, including an infant.

The collision happened around 4:40 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 4, at County Road 34 and County Road 31 when Elkhart County Sheriff’s investigators say the teen was pulling out from some property onto County Road 34 and pulled into the part of a Chrysler 200 being driven by a 19-year-old Goshen woman.

Maine driver out on bail crashed his vehicle into an Amish horse and buggy in Exeter, Maine, on Thursday.
The Penobscot Regional Communications Center received a call reporting the crash around 3:05 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, according to the Penobscot County’s Sheriff’s Office and Newsbreak.

An Amish buggy with three occupants was destroyed Friday evening at 7:28 p.m. after it was rear ended by the driver of a car who failed to see it while he was driving on SR 116 near CR 200 W.
The Adams County Sheriff's Department said Kevin R. Hibbard, 53, E. Line Street, Geneva, was eastbound on SR 116 when he came upon a buggy driven by Nathan R. Schwartz, 17, rural Geneva and collided with the rear of of the buggy.

WATERTOWN, NY - The woman who was driving the pickup truck that crashed into a buggy, killing two Amish children, has been charged with criminally negligent homicide.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office arrested 26-year-old Charlene Kring of LaFargeville on Monday.

LEACOCK TOWNSHIP, PA — A two-vehicle crash involving a horse and buggy and a 2014 Honda CRV occurred at the intersection of Old Philadelphia Pike and North Ronks Road around 12:38 p.m. on October 27, as per a Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) release.
The investigation by the troopers indicated that the driver of the horse and buggy was responsible for the collision. The driver reportedly failed to maintain control of the horse and attempted to overtake the Honda CRV from the right at an excessive speed. The Honda was stationary at a traffic light when the horse and buggy struck it.

ALLEN COUNTY, IN – The Allen County Sheriff’s Department sent out an alert Sunday evening to avoid the area of SR 37 & Cuba Road in northeast Allen County.
The alert says police are working two crashes in the area.
According to an officer with the Allen County Sheriff’s Department, the first crash happened near SR 37 & Cuba Road around 6:35 p.m. A vehicle crashed into a buggy and the horse pulling it got loose.

GEAUGA COUNTY, OH — Ohio State Highway Patrol released photos of a crash involving a buggy that took place Thursday evening near Middlefield.
OSHP and Geauga County Sheriff’s Office were called to the intersection of SR-87 and Bundysburg Windsor Road NW for reports a car and a buggy were involved in a crash around 6:30 p.m.

TOWN OF HOLTON, WI - The Marathon County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a semi-truck versus horse and buggy crash that injured three people at approximately 4:08 p.m. on Monday in the Town of Holton.
The Marathon County 911 Dispatch Center was notified of the crash near the intersection of County Road A and Juedes Avenue in the Town of Holton. Three people were injured in the crash. One person sustained life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to a local hospital. Two others suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene.

ONEIDA COUNTY, NY— The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office reported that an Amish buggy was involved in a motor vehicle accident in the town of Camden on Monday, Oct. 30.
Sheriffs were called to State Route 13 in the town, just west of Lovers Lane at approximately 7:30 in the morning on Monday, October 30. Further investigation determined that a buggy — being controlled by Alvin Glick and Daniel Gingerich of Williamstown — was traveling eastbound on State Route 13.

GETTYSBURG, OH — An 18-year-old Amish girl was thrown from her buggy Tuesday morning when it was struck by a straight truck from behind.
The Darke County Sheriff’s Office says the horse pulling the buggy was killed in the crash on U.S. 36. Darke County is located in western Ohio near the Indiana border.
Detroit Lakes, MN – There’s been a strange development in a crash that killed two children and injured two others who were riding on an Amish buggy in southern Minnesota in September.
The crash happened just before 8:30 a.m. on Sept. 25, on County Road 1 when the driver of a Toyota 4Runner collided with the two-wheeled, horse-drawn buggy south of County Road 102, near the Sumner Center Church.

JOHNSON COUNTY, MO — The Missouri Highway Patrol says a woman who was a passenger in a homemade Amish buggy died in a crash that happened earlier this week.

The crash happened Saturday afternoon on Route 64 in the area of Hecla Park and Bellefonte Sports Academy @ The Rink. According to PSP, a Grand Caravan was traveling westbound when it struck the horse and buggy.
