KANSAS CITY, MO - Be aware of an increase in buggy traffic on Wednesday in Johnson County, Missouri.
The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office posted a traffic advisory, warning residents to expect more buggy traffic in the area due to a “large Amish wedding.”

Levi R. Stoltzfus, 81, of Narvon, was driving the buggy east at the intersection of Sheep Hill Road and Springville Road in East Earl Township when he "failed to stop for the stop sign at Springville Road (PA route 897)," police said.
A 44-years-old woman from New Holland was driving a BMW X5 SUV north on Springville Road "when the horse and buggy entered the intersection the front end of the BMW collided with the right side rear wheel of the buggy, which caused the buggy to overturn," as written in the police release.

GEAUGA COUNTY, OH — A person suffered life-threatening injuries following a crash involving a buggy that took place on State Route 88 on Saturday afternoon.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the Patrol’s Ravenna Dispatch Center was advised at 3:57 p.m. of a serious crash that took place near the address of 16066 McCall Rd. on State Route 88 involving a horse-drawn buggy and a GMC SUV. Troopers from the Patrol’s Chardon Post responded to the scene.

CUMBERLAND, VA – Charges remain pending in a pickup truck versus an Amish horse buggy crash in Cumberland County State Police now say killed a young girl. State Police have also released some of the identities of the victims. They now say an 8-year old girl died in the crash on Cumberland Road near Blanton Farm Road, halfway between Cumberland Courthouse and Farmville, Sunday evening. Everyone in the carriage was ejected and the girl died at the scene.

SYRACUSE, NY — Around 10:15 a.m. on Sunday, July 7, New York State Police were called to a crash between a car and an Amish buggy in Mexico.
State police say a 66-year-old from the city of Oswego was driving a Kia Sedona on State Route 3 when they tried to pass an Amish buggy that was traveling on the shoulder.

A pickup and an Amish buggy collided Wednesday west of Licking, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
MSgt. Ryan Vaughan said an eastbound 2003 Chevrolet Silverado driven by a 17-year-old boy and a westbound horse-drawn buggy operated by Christie D. Schwartz, 42, of Licking, were traveling on Deason Drive two miles west of Licking.
According to Fillmore County Sheriff John DeGeorge, Fillmore County Dispatch received a 911 call of a vehicle vs Amish buggy crash at approximately 3:59 p.m. on June 20. The crash occurred on County Road 21 at the intersection with 130th Street. The buggy was occupied by four people; the driver of the pickup was the lone occupant.
